3 Knots Leather Jewelry

Transform soft, natural-dyed leather cord and basic materials into unique, handcrafted jewelry. Whether you’re new to knotting or already love working with your hands, this workshop is a relaxed and creative way to learn new skills. Come ready to slow down, enjoy the process, and leave the class with jewelry you can wear right away.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn three different decorative knotting techniques to form three macramé jewelry designs. Step by step, you’ll turn simple materials into stylish, wearable pieces with an earthy, handcrafted feel. By the end of class, you’ll have completed three finished jewelry designs to take home and enjoy. This class is perfect for beginners and makers who want to add new knotting skills to their creative toolkit.

Macramé is essentially a series of decorative knots. Its earliest depictions date back to ancient civilizations, and it has resurfaced in popularity many times — notably during the Victorian era and again in the bohemian 1970s. Today, macramé is enjoying a revival in fashion and home décor, showing up in trend-focused retailers where artisan-inspired goods are in demand.

Each student will be given the materials to make each piece of jewelry along with printed instructions. The class kit is made of genuine gemstones, finely-crafted leather, and high-quality findings. All necessary tools will be provided for use while in class.
