Mosaic Bird Bath 2-Day Workshop
This workshop is developed for people of all skill levels to create a mosaic bird bath that they will feel proud of. Artist Grace Sheehy will be guiding you through the process and will provide all materials needed to create a beautiful and functional mosaic bird bath. You are also welcome to bring additional items to put in your mosaic: glass, shells, beads, rocks. (no wood or plastic as they are unsafe for birds and will degrade).
*This is a TWO DAY workshop with a four hour session the first day (Saturday 11am-3pm) and a two hour session the second day (Sunday 11am-1pm). Attendance at both days of the workshop is needed to complete your bird bath.*

Her work is rooted in the art of conscious rest, blending the primal pulse of the medicine drum with the precision of tuning forks and the ethereal drift of chimes.

Curve, Color, Composition Space and Storytelling
Come join Corbin Rouette for a guided discussion about photography and sculpture and the basic rules of composition, color and form. He will dive into the basics of these rules and show ways and methods of how to break the traditional techniques to create emphasis in your own work. Corbin will explore how skateboarding and its subculture has shaped his visual storytelling through photography and installation art.

Join us Friday, March 13th for a full day at Toothpick. Walk-in flash tattoos from 12–8pm (first come, first served). At 5pm, we open a photography show by Prescott artist Corbin Rouette, whose work explores memory, identity, and place through personal and family archives. Come hang out, get tattooed, and support local art.

Serenading Sonnets with a Prescott Poet
Sit down with an experienced, local poet on the pinnacle day of love. You’ll learn what goes into writing a sonnet – Shakespeare’s favorite form of poetry. Then, you’ll flex your creative skills in a small-group setting by exploring why your romantic (or platonic) relationship can be so infatuating. Bring your girlfriend, your husband, or even your bromance! Valentine’s Day is a day to throw every word at the wall and hope at least 14 lines stick!

Watercolor Victorian Puzzles
Come learn how to make and decorate a Victorian Puzzle Purse! In this 2.5 hour class you will be guided through learning how to properly fold a Victorian puzzle purse, and how to plan out your decorations. Then you will be guided through the basics of watercolor painting as you create your final design using high quality card stock and watercolor paints. Your instructor will bring images and poetry as inspiration, or you can discover your own patterning and artistic flair!
