The Tooth Fairy Fund is a community support initiative by Toothpick.

It exists to remove financial barriers to creativity by funding art class scholarships, paid learning opportunities, and future artist-in-residence programs. Every dollar goes directly toward access, education, and opportunity for artists and makers in our community.

Creativity should be shared, not gated.

Why give?

  • At Toothpick, we believe creativity is a human right. Access to art, community, and self-expression shouldn’t be limited by income, circumstance, or background. That’s why we’re launching the Tooth Fairy Fund: a growing, grassroots fund designed to uplift the people around us through access, education, and opportunity.

  • Art Class Scholarships

For folks who want to take a class or workshop at Toothpick but can’t swing the cost right now. Whether you’re a first-timer or a lifelong maker, we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table.

  • A Student Internship Program (Coming Soon)

We’re building a program for local students to learn side by side with artists and makers in the studio. This reserve fund helps us prepare to pay and support interns fairly when the time comes.

  • A Future Artist-in-Residence Program

Our long-term dream: to fund and host working artists from underrepresented communities who can create and teach from within our space. This fund helps us take real steps in that direction.

  • $100 — Supports a community member attending a workshop

$500 — Funds one paid student internship

    $1,000 — Supports a micro artist-in-residence

    $2,000 — Fully funds a one-week micro artist-in-residence (pay, materials, lodging)

$5,000+ — Sustains the full ecosystem (scholarships, internships, residencies)
