You’ve asked and we have answered: we’re hosting our first MAKERS MEETUP! And what’s better? This one will be an Art Supply Swap as well!

If you’re an artist, maker, creator, doodler, crafter, or someone in between, you are welcome at this meetup. Meet other like minded people, or bring friends and just come hang. Either way, we want you to come! This will be a drop in event, come for the whole time or just come for a few minutes, just make sure you come.

In addition to the meetup, we will be having an art supply swap. Here’s how it works: bring in anything that you’re not using, don’t need, or don’t love to use, as long as it falls somewhere in the realm of art supplies and isn’t broken (and keeping each item smaller then a bread box). Bring what you want, and leave with what you want. We won’t be counting items in and items out, this is a honor system swap. An art swap acts as an opportunity for artists to get the materials they need, while also gifting to someone else! At the end of the event, anything left over will be donated to the Launch Pad Teen Center art program.
