In this 4 hour workshop, you will:

  • Learn about various mending materials and how they are used in practice

  • Get hands-on instruction in Sashiko style stitching to complete mends in a visible, mindful manner.

  • Discover techniques for mending specific areas like crotch/butt patching, threadbare spots, torn pockets, and worn knees.

  • Have the opportunity to strategize about and possibly start your specific repairs with guidance.

Included in Your Class Kit:

  • Denim pieces for practice

  • Sashiko needle

  • Sashiko thread
