Spring Equinox Sunset Sound Bath
The light shifts. The season turns. We practice conscious rest.
On the evening of the Spring Equinox, we’re hosting a sunset sound bath guided by Sheena of Sacred Dance Healing Arts: The Harmonic Architect. Her work is rooted in the art of conscious rest, blending the primal pulse of the medicine drum with the precision of tuning forks and the ethereal drift of chimes.
$20 per ticket
You’ll be immersed in the luminous resonance of Crystal Alchemy bowls and the deeply resonant tones of Tibetan singing bowls, layered with targeted frequencies and the subtle wash of the Somni Cálix Sound Wave tool. The goal is simple: total nervous system reset. The method: harmonic immersion.
This is an hour to lie down, soften, and let sound move through you. To give your body space to recalibrate at the exact moment winter gives way to spring.
At Toothpick, we believe creative spaces should also be places where people can land. Not just to make things, but to restore the hands and nervous systems that make them. This offering is a natural extension of that. A gathering together, slowing down, sharing an experience that supports the body behind the work.
About Sheena:
Sheena Yakopatz, LMT, BCTMB, MLST, has been devoted to massage therapy and bodywork since 1991. With over 36 years in practice, more than 30,000 hours of hands-on treatment time, and 3,000 hours of advanced training, she brings rare depth and precision to her work. She is certified and proficient in 17 modalities, including Sound Bath and Frequency Healing, Swedish, Sports and Medical Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cranial-Sacral and Bio Dynamic Cranio Sacral, Lymphatic Drainage, Visceral Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Pre-Natal, Watsu, and LaStone Therapy.
She is a former Global Senior Educator and Certified LaStone® Therapy Instructor, nationally certified since 1992, now Board Certified, and holds a current Arizona Massage Therapy license.
Her passion is elevating the experience of the recipient to the unexpected. She often speaks about anticipating a need even as you are just becoming aware of it yourself. Her work is intuitive, precise, and deeply attuned.
If you’ve been craving rest that feels intentional and held, this is your invitation.
Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and anything that helps you settle in.
We’ll meet at sunset.
